I've never had a blackhead, but i've had every other form of acne, so how is a blackhead different?

and why have a never had a blackhead? i'm not saying i want one, but most people have had more blackheads than anything else. i DO have acne, but most of it cleared up bc im on benzaclin and differin, but i usually get just red ones, really deep painful ones, or whiteheads. never a blackhead.

Blackheads aren't acne, so it could simply be that. All a blackhead is, is a pore that's clogged with sebum and occasionally dirt. I only notice mine if my face is dirty from working in the garden, the dirt sort of highlights them. A blackhead is just a pore filled w/ dirt and dead skin taht never turns into a red bump or gets filled w/ puss. I bet you have them, they are usually small and just a filled up pore that can be squeezed out.
