Why did I have a blackhead/zit ';down there';?

it was gross, I noticed it in the shower...so I popped it (it was like any other) but is it OK for it to be down there? its sorta sore where I popped it (but thats mostly normal).Why did I have a blackhead/zit ';down there';?

Yes it's normal, well ';down there'; is usually dark, damp %26amp; warm a great place for bacteria to feed and form but your lucky if would have gotten infected, it could have become and abscess in which a surgeon would have had to cut it open and drain then you would have been put on antibiotics for a couple of weeks which could possibly give you a yeast infection (yes you can get them if your male) down there AND in your throat.
Yeah, boss, no worries... If you have pores there (e.g. anywhere you have skin), you can get white/black heads... Some areas are more prone to acne than others just because the body is more inclined to produce oils and combat the infection present; but literally any pore can get clogged and react in a negative way... Try to keep it dry and use a mild treatment like tea tree oil to speed things along...
