1. Change your pillow case as often as possible, oil can build up on your pillow and while you are sleeping can get on your face. If you remember to change your pillow case once every night or every two to three days this will help alleviate any issues if you have a black heads.
2. When you're taking a shower close all the doors and turn the shower water on as hot as you possibly can stand it. The steam will help open up the pores and can loosen the black head. This can also be accomplished by buying a facial steamer which is specifically made to open up facial pores.
3. Wash your face twice daily, any more than that and you run the risk of replacing the oil on your face that is caused by your skin drying out. Always make sure that you wash before you go to bed with a gentle soap.
4. Try to avoid eating any junk food, although it's never been proven that certain foods will cause acne and blackheads certain foods will increase the probability that you will get acne and blackheads. There is no hard and fast rule about what you should eat but it if you stay away from the junk food and eat a healthy diet you'll be less prone to blackheads.
5. After washing your face make sure this use of clean towel to dry your face off. A previously used towel may contain oil and dirt and will only worsen the symptoms. After washing your face the last thing you want to do is replace it with oil and dirt and changing towels on a daily basis will help with this.
6. Pay close attention to the areas that you can get the most blackheads and make sure that you watch or treat them little more thoroughly. One of the areas that people generally don't pay much attention to when getting blackheads is their nose, your nose can be one of the most infected areas simply cleanse it thoroughly. After i get rid of a blackhead them come back the next day what do i do?
if you put gravy on it and let your dog nibble at it, they never come backAfter i get rid of a blackhead them come back the next day what do i do?
you use a blackhead cleanser every morning to prevent them.
the reason they come back is b/c the spot where they were after you pop them is still not clean so use either a disinfectant soap or a face cleanser to clean your face every single day! = ]

I am having a major zit, blackhead, and whitehead breakout, HELP!?!?!?!?
I have zit all over my fore head and back, blackheads on the side of my nose and under my mouth, and every tome I squeeze my nose or chin tons of white heads come squirting out. And to make matters worse in two weeks I am going on a cruise to the southern Caribbean. Oh, and the more I wash my face the worse it gets, I have used probably 5 different facial washes. Please, if you know what to do, please tell.I am having a major zit, blackhead, and whitehead breakout, HELP!?!?!?!?
I wouldn't do that last thing, but I would suggest using astringent ( I use the red clean and clear astringent with the purple top) It dries out your skin so only use it on areas that need it, or if you have extra oily skin use it all over. Also, using a face wash with some sort of acid in it will help as well. I cannot remember the name of the acid right now but it is in the clean and clear set with the silver bottles and I believe purple tops as well. Hope this helps.I am having a major zit, blackhead, and whitehead breakout, HELP!?!?!?!?
use rubbing alcohol and put some on a cotton ball and rub it around it will dry them up over night or during the day
Wash your face three times a day with dial antibacterial soap, or any soap with triclosan. Leave the soap on your face for 2 full minutes, but no longer. You will begin to see improvement in 48 hours.
Be sure to wash your hands throughly when you wash your face, and keep your hands OFF of your face.
the only thing i've used that has worked has been skin perfection. It basically got rid of all my acne in a few days and I haven't had an outbreak in months. Definitely worth a shot if you're having issues.
Oh and they give a free trial if you get it through their website.

I used skin perfection and my acne was pretty much gone in less than a week. It's pretty good stuff.
First thing: Stop meddling with those. The more you do it, the more will pop up. Thems the way they work.
If you pop the white heads, they form scabs. That is the reason for black ones.
After a few years, if you have been popping them out like this - your face will be full of pock marks. It leaves ugly holes and spots all over your face. Leave it well enough alone now. Keep them hands well in your pocket.
Why are you getting them? It has everything to do with harmones. In some teens/ early teens it is common. Some are lucky not to get them and some are. There is not much you can do about it. That's the way you are made - it is a genetic thingy. It will disappear after you pass your 18 or 19th year........ until then you have to.......as I said.....keep your hands in your pocket.
Blemish 鈥?prone skin
ID : Suffers from oil overload, clogged pores and breakouts. Even careful cleansing won鈥檛 keep it clear.
Cleanse : Wash with gel or liquid cleanser or an oily-skin cleansing bar no more than three times per day. Stripping skin won鈥檛 clear it 鈥?hardened oil trapped in pores, not surface grease, causes breakouts. If skin鈥檚 ultra-oily, try a medicated soap or cleanser formulated with triclosan, salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide.
Tone : You can follow gel, liquid or bar cleansing with astringent and/or use toner to clean up during the day. However, toners plus drying cleansers or acne medicines may add up to excessive dryness.
Moisturize : Dot and blend a light, oil-free lotion on driest areas only. Stuck on an over drying/moisturizing seesaw? Choose a milder cleanser, like a facial bar instead of medicated cleanser, and try a less-drying medication, such as cream-based instead of gel.
Troubleshoot : Today鈥檚 acne medications not only clear up current breakouts but if used twice a day, everyday, unclog pores to help prevent future blemishes. Benzoyl peroxide dries skin (creams are less drying than gels) so start with a 5% concentration, then go to 10% if skin needs and tolerates it. Salicylic acid dries less than benzoyl peroxide so it can be used with more drying-cleansers. Clay masks sop up oil and remove dead surface cells 鈥?but they鈥檙e no substitute for regular medication.
Make up : Tinted benzoyl-peroxide products deliver light coverage. For more camouflage, opt for an oil-free, non-clogging foundation, like No Shine Oil-Control.
Extra Advice : At-home treatment not working? See a dermatologist. A few appointments to set up a regimen plus checks-in every three to six months may get you in the clear !
The most important thing is not to irritate your skin.
%26gt;wash your face 3 times a day with a foaming clenser that leaves some moisture
%26gt;night time..is fixing time: blot white toothpaste on zits after you wash your face or mary kay acne treatment gel
Basically avoid touching your face, at ALL. And dont over stimulate your skin, this CAUSES acne.
Finally, if you are really worried about it, go see a doctor.

I am lots of marks left after the blackhead squeeze on both of my cheeks. How can they be gone?
Will I ever have smooth beautiful skin?? :(I am lots of marks left after the blackhead squeeze on both of my cheeks. How can they be gone?
Blackheads are one of the biggest skin problems that most college-age women face. I’ve gotten quite a few emails asking about how to get rid of them, and I used to struggle with them myself!
I have an embarrassing story about how I found out I had blackheads in the first place. I guess you could say I was in “blackhead denial.”
It started out innocently enough – I was hanging out with my boyfriend one weekend, goofing around. I was making fun of his eyebrows or something when all of a sudden, he stared at my face with a scrutinizing look. Pressing his finger up against my nose, he said “by the way, how do you get rid of those things?” I think you can guess what he meant.
Yes, he was pointing at blackheads. Skin flaws that even I, Ms. Perfectionist, hadn’t thought about before! I knew I didn’t have perfect skin, but couldn’t believe something so tiny would be noticeable! I was so upset and embarrassed that I not only chewed my boyfriend out for pointing them out, but became completely self conscious about my “blackhead problem.” From then on, I developed a complex (and an intimate relationship with my magnifying mirror) and became obsessed with getting rid of them.
Since that fateful day, I’ve done tons of research, learning what those annoying little black dots are and how to get rid of them! Although my boyfriend’s comment partially traumatized me, on the plus side, my skin is looking a lot better now and blackheads are no longer an issue.
If you want to get rid of blackheads yourself, or just want to know how to keep them away, read on!
Check your makeup – The truth is, what you put on to cover blackheads up might actually be causing more of them! If you wear lots of heavy foundation or use thick face creams, you could be contributing to the problem with your products! In general, if you have a problem with greasy skin and clogged pores, consider using as few products as you can. The fewer layers of stuff that you put on your face, the better.
Lots of water %26amp; healthy eating – Cliche’, maybe, but it’s so true. What you put into your body shows on the outside. Simple as that. If you eat lots of greasy crap, your skin is not going to look as good as it would if you ate more veggies and drank more water.
Use BHA – BHA stands for Beta Hydroxy Acid, which is an exfoliant that removes the dead layer of skin from your face. If you’ve ever seen a skincare product that contains salicylic acid, that’s BHA. BHA is important for getting rid of blackheads because it goes into your pores to clean out the excess oil and dead skin cells that make up blackheads.
A great BHA product that I use is Olay Total Effects Anti-Aging Anti Blemish Daily Moisturizer. I put it on at night after washing my face, and when I wake up, my skin always looks better and better. I have less blackheads, and as a bonus, my skin is clearer and softer than it was before!
Do a clay mask once a week – This is only for those of you with oily or combination skin. Dry skin, obviously, needs all the oil it can get. Blackheads are partially caused by excess oil on your face, so if you have greasy skin, a good quality clay mask will help sop up some of the grease and keep your pores clearer. Using it once a week is enough – you don’t want to over-dry your skin, because this could lead to even more problems!
Don’t bother with a pore strip – First of all, they’re basically useless for getting rid of anything that’s stuck deep in your pores. Second of all, they can actually damage your skin! I know these things look like miracle products, but save your money because they aren’t really going to help.
Squeeze, but do it carefully! - This is one situation where picking your face may actually help instead of making things worse. Don’t take this as permission to pick at your face all you want! There is a right and a wrong way to squeeze blackheads and it’s really important that you do it the right way.
First, wash your face with a gentle cleanser. (I like Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser.) Next, cover your face with a warm, wet cloth for 10 to 15 minutes. Pat your face dry, then wrap tissues around your fingers to prevent slippage. Use GENTLE pressure to press down then up around the sides of the blackhead. If nothing happens after one or two tries, stop. That means the blackhead isn’t ready to come out yet. Whatever you do, don’t pinch, use your nails or press too hard. This can damage your skin and might even lead to scars!
See a dermatologist – If all else fails, a derm can really help you out. They can prescribe things like Retin-A, antibiotics or Accutane, which can all help with blackheads. Procedures like microdermabrasion are also said to be effective, but I recommend trying the above steps first because the problem can usually clear itself up without these extreme treatments.
At the end of the day, blackheads are kind of an ongoing battle. For those of us who are prone to them,I am lots of marks left after the blackhead squeeze on both of my cheeks. How can they be gone?
Hi. Even i had similar problems and nothing seemed to work. However i met a skin consultant here in Bangalore and everything is simply perfect. If you are interested i can give you her number and address by mail (Not here obviously for it may go to wrong hands) at varungupta17@yahoo.com.
I have seen its results and am sure wil do wonders for you as well!!!!
Have A Great Day...
personally i use an oatmeal mask. i make it at the comfort of my home.=-) all you need is oatmeal and water. mix it up until it gets to a pasty texture. put it on ur face and leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes.. once time is up, wet ur hands and start massaging(softly) ur face w the oatmeal mask. do that for a couple of minutes. then get a cloth wet it w/ warm water and remove the mask. you could rinse w water in ur hands if there is remaining mask. do this once a week. this really worked for me w black heads, reducing my pimples, and to clear scars. it also leaves my skin soft. hope it brings you success as it did to me =-)
You're not supposed to squeeze blackheads, because of the fact that it just leaves scars, sometimes tiny holes. Find a good facial cleanser and continue to use that to keep them away.
Apply fresh, raw aloevera gel on the cheeks thrice or twice daily and massage for 1/2 hr.In a month or two you can see your skin becoming smooth.
apply ice immediately after removing the blackheads. You can try the pack of few drops of honey, fresh cream and lemon squeezed in it.
I have found some good tips in following link, It may be good for you too

Definitely did not work for me! I tried it for my blackheads and my pores never got any smaller or less clogged.
I have been using the Clinique 3-step acne treatment for about a week now and I pretty much saw an immediate difference! My pores already look smaller and clearer. Just after a week! A lot of people like Clinique products and recommend them. Here's the link:
